Textile - 'Lap Quilting'
Original hand (dye) painted fabric ready for those that sew to use in a multitude of ways. Colourfast and washable, these panels are ideal for use in quilts, wall hangings, home decorating projects, clothing or simply to frame.
The hand of the fabric remains soft using the method of painting with thickened fiber reactive dyes. Each panel is then cured, washed and is ready to use by you.

These little individual paintings compiled together tell a story. This particular panel was painted from my sketchbook. When we travel I try to fill a small sketch book with everyday scenes I come upon.

This is a detail of a larger wallhanging. The shapes were free motion stitched to give raised detail.
